#FIRESHEEP 0.1 COMPATIBILITY MOD#Just recently and approximately one week later, SeZulda asked for help maintaining his compatibility because he wanted to outsource responsiblity for the maintenance of mod files. At this point, Reis had enough of the now consistent back and forth arguments and unresolved issues, and as a result decided to pull his continued maintenence of the rtbCT mod. SeZulda decided to create his own compatibility tool to make Navies of Europe compatible. After his dismissal of the input of other members of the modding community and the generally poor reaction that he gave, Reisthebest decided to end all compatibility and mod/tech support with Navies of Europe until the issues listed above were fixed. When approached with these historical inaccuracies and overpowered stats, SeZulda stated that he "has no time to do research" and "Doesn't care, it's just a number to me." He gave vague promises to fix the most egregious issues but largely dismissed most of our requests and points. We hoped that by bringing these issues forward we could solve outstanding issues between SeZuldaCZ and other modders and foster greater cooperation in the modding community as a result. As expected, this made the ships very strong. Several had artificially increased armor stats, artifically increased weapon reloads, and higher than normal penetration values. This mostly occurred because many of the ships in Navies of Europe are very overpowered compared to their peers as well as the preference for fantasy ships in the mod. This went on and off for a few months but recently this came to head, a few of the modders approached SeZulda about the standardization of ships and efforts to improve compatibility across the various large mods. He continued to disrespect the creator and belittle the mod. SeZulda questioned the creation of this mod, citing that he could do better and make his own compatibility. Reis created this tool to help all the modders around focus on content creation rather than compatibility. The issue starts at the beginning of Reisthebest compatibility tool. Regarding the prior statement by SeZuldaCZ, we would like to elaborate further on what has occured. Maybe I'll be better soon and I'll work better again. I hope everything about NoE and NCT will work as it should or maybe someone here will help you with that. I'm also just a person, and even though I enjoy working in Blender and a bit in Unity, I didn't enjoy working with txt files and administrativ work about NoE/NCT, and it was just a burden for me, I was doing that because there were some who were happy for my mod and enjoyed using it, unfortunately my mental health in recent weeks is miserable and after what happened with and other "modders" here on the discord it was even worse, and after today after two people ("modders") wrote in one room, where I was looking for help with NoE and NCT, I've had enough. I am sorry to announce that from this moment (February 24, 2022) to March 7, 2022, I will take time off from working on NoE and NCT, I will continue to create models in the Blender/Unity, but I will not solve any problems regarding this and etc.
